Since 1992, we have helped clients turn unusual ideas into functional, eye-catching pieces built for real commercial environments.
Our strength is combining art and functionality. A great prop has to do more than look good—it also has to survive shipping, installation, weather, guest interaction and years of use.
34 Years of Attraction Industry Experience
Creative Visions began in 1992 as Haunted Lighting & F/X, serving the haunted attraction industry. As our work expanded into props, scenery, displays and large-scale fabrication, the company evolved into Creative Visions.
Today, we work with theme parks, haunted attractions, mini golf courses, family entertainment centers, attraction designers and commercial brands throughout the United States and around the world.
Clients have included Ripley’s Entertainment, Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park and KFC.

Creative Visions operates from approximately 20,000 square feet of production space at 1801 Cherokee Street in St. Louis, Missouri.
Our shop is part of the historic Lemp Brewery complex and occupies what was once the Lemp Stables.
From St. Louis, we fabricate custom projects for clients across the United States and ship worldwide.
Experience With Unusual Projects
Over the years, Creative Visions has been involved in some unusual projects, including the first haunted attraction in South America, a three-story dragon approximately 65 feet wide, and a massive artificial rotating moon.
Our work has also earned an IAAPA Brass Ring Award and the Haunted Attraction Association Vendor Excellence Award.
About Mark McDonough
Creative Visions was founded by Mark McDonough, whose background combines theater, technical production and advertising.
Mark began working in theater at age eleven and later earned degrees in Technical Theatre and Advertising from Saint Louis University.
That combination of creativity, technical problem-solving and practical business thinking continues to influence how Creative Visions approaches every project.
